Ruth's Chris Steak House Opens in Fresno, California
Heathrow, Fla., August 11, 2008 -- Ruth's Chris Steak House (Nasdaq: RUTH), today announced the opening of its Fresno location, bringing the total number of restaurants to 128 worldwide. This is Ruth's Chris fourteenth location in the state of California.
"We are pleased to grow our presence in the state of California, and believe Fresno is a good fit for our brand," commented Geoff Stiles, President of Ruth's Chris Steak House. "We have been able to develop strong brand awareness in the state and hope to capitalize on that with our Fresno location. The Fresno Ruth's Chris restaurant is centrally located in the open-air promenade at River Park at 7844 North Blackstone Avenue. The restaurant features seating for more than 250 guests, and offers two private dining areas with seating for 25 guests in one room and 35 guests in the other.
As a celebration of its opening in Fresno, Ruth's Chris will be supporting local charitable organizations that align with the company's core values.
